Match Report
Kidderminster ended their pre-season schedule with another win, a good workout at Halesowen Town. Fielding the team that will probably start the League campaign on Saturday, Harriers started the game at a blistering pace and soon were creating chances.

Tony Bird made a great run through the home defence before slamming a thunderous shot against the post with former Harriers keeper Tim Clarke well beaten. Bird then turn the defence inside out before passing back to Andy Ducros who fired a shot through a crowded penalty area for the opening goal.

Harriers continued to dominate, Parfait Medou-Otye forced a great save from Clarke with a powerful left-foot shot, and Ben Davies also made Clarke work.

After the break the game was played at a slower pace, but Harriers soon increased their lead. Sam Shilton burst into the penalty area and fired his shot inside the near post past Halesowen's reserve keeper.

Halesowen were forced to rotate their players with several being substituted and later returning to the field as they struggled to cope with Harriers' superior fitness. They pulled a goal back through veteran striker Dennis Bailey when the ball ran free after Adie Smith had made a great tackle to deny Carter and Bailey shot deflected in off Brock.
